National Conference Additional General Secretary and FormerMinister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today said unwavering commitment of Bhagwan Ram inthe principles of righteousness and justice will continue to inspire humanityto uphold ethical standards in life.
Participating in the Shobha Yatra at village THUB whichcrossed through main villages of Border in MARH, Sadhotra said the life of ShriRam reflects virtues such as righteousness, compassion, and devotion in immensemeasure and sets high standards of moral values for humanity to imbibe.
It is a matter of happiness that Pran Pratishtha is beingdone on 22nd January 2024 and to strengthen the Aastha towards Bhagwan Ram, wemust read, learn Ramayan and implement its teachings in our day to day life inletter and spirit.
He said Bhagwan Ram’s life resonates as a symbol of moralintegrity, fostering a sense of duty among devout, he said while invoking Hisvalues as Maryada Purshotam to foster harmony in the society which is grapplingwith greed, hate and injustice being perpetuated by fellow beings. Thesetendencies need to be eschewed for harmonious and inclusive growth of thesociety, he added.
Mr Sadhotra said all religions stand for peace, amity andlove. This spirit has to be sustained and promoted in a big way by respectingother religions for making the world a better place to live in. Embracingdiversity in faith fosters mutual understanding and tolerance and acknowledgingthe richness of various beliefs generates an enabling environment forcoexistence and cooperation.
Such respect not onlypromotes social unity but also contributes in building trust among communities,he said and emphasized the need for strengthening the bonds of unity andpromoting a collective spirit that thrives on mutual understanding and empathy.
The NC Additional General Secretary lauded the people formaintaining high traditions of unity in diversity, the cornerstone of Jammu andKashmir’s glorious ethos. This spirit has withstood test of times forcenturies, as the people’s faith in inclusiveness has never wavered, he added.
Sadhotra complimented the people for participating in theShoba Yatra and prayed for peace and universal brotherhood.
